Love your site. It's been invaulable to me. I softmodded one box and have installed a chip in another box in the past week thanks to you guys. Here's my current problem
I have a softmodded box ver. 1.3 or 1.2. and i softmodded using sid3 and aid 2.11 final. I installed a 250 gig harddrive but the xbox doesnt seem to be recognizing 80 gigs of it. i figure it's in one of the other partitions but i havent figured out where it is. does this sould like a familiar problem to anyone? do you think i did something wrong as to why it's not recognizing the missing 80+gigs? I read on some forum somewhere that xbox's wont read certain drives ..and they can be only used as storage. is this what is going on with my box?

any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I had the same problem when I installed my 250 this week. Make sure in your dashboard settings that you have g drive enabled. Then put your aid disk in & format your g drive. That will give you your added space.

Good Luck

On my system all I did was enable g in the dashboard. Booted the xbox with the aid disk & I formated only the g drive. I didn't lose anything. This is about the extent of my knowledge. If that doesn't work maybe someone else can help. Hope this works for you.
