Hello all, I tried 2 soft mod a second XBOx. I got the evo dash 2 come up so I guess I did it correctly. Here's the problem I can't get the AID disc to boot. It works fine on the orignal XBOX so I know it works. The cd is a memorex cdr-w and a samsung rom in the xbox.
Steps i used to soft mod in order
MS back up c:/e:
mod back up c: only
Install soft mod on e:
Install evo dash on e:

I tried to install soft mod again I got the same thing. The AID disc want boot in the XBOX? Any advice ?

it will be the dvdrom drive. You will need to have a few different brands of media CDRW/DVD-R with AIDeluxe on them.. You will eventually find the brands that work best for each drive too.
thats all that is wrong.. DVD-R is always the best way i believe.
but CDRW does work after trial and error.
