i was wondering if it's possible to build in a bigger hdd in a softmodded xbox using the autoinstaller disk ,using a hard modded xbox to create a softmodded new hdd ,looks to me that's much easier then the methods described in here and other sites, only works if you got 2 xboxes offcourse and one with a chip

i think you're missing the point ,sorry for the english i'm from holland ,but i was asking if it's possible to install a softmod on a modded (chip) xbox ,and then put the new (softmodded) hdd into an unmodded xbox ,it really looks to me the easiest way to do this .i myself have a modded xbox (aladdin) and my son has a softmodded xbox 1.6 .now the softmod i think doesn't work (haven't try'd it yet) but i just installed auto installer disk 2.11 on my own xbox and saw in the menu a softmod option ,so i'm just curious if it's possible to double mod your xbox hardware and software or placing that new rebuild hdd back in the unmodded xbox ,looks to me this should work

You could install a softmod onto he hdd of a chipped box. However, you will need to lock the hdd using the eeprom from the other box. If you mod chip is not a solderless you will need xboxhdm to lock it. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

heb me dr nog niet zover in verdiept ,maar vroeg het me af nadat ik die autoinstaller disk gezien had
