Everytime I boot the xbox with the hd it keeps on coming up either error 13 or 14. It will come up with error 14 when I stick the dashboard disk in.

Can someone please help me?

We will need alot more info for our softmod admins or other members here to help you..

What Softmod Installer did you use?? SID3?? SID2 or other??
What happened before you got this error?

Service Error 13:
Info: Dashboard launch failed (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.
Solution: Lock the Harddisk if not done so. Try updating your M$ Retail Dashboard using the 'HQ Auto Installer v1.01'. or manually download and install one of the 4 different Microsoft Dashboard versions.

Service Error 14:
Info: Error loading dashboard (dashboard generic error). Solution: Replace the current dashboard with a new dashboard because the old one is probably dead. Boot the 'HQ Auto Installer Deluxe' and re-install your dashboard..

No, that doesn't help at all because I already know that stuff, but don't worry about it, thanks anyways. Nothing happened before I got that error, the only thing that happened would me unlocking the 200 gb hd using the xboxhdm cd to unlock it to the version 1.6 xbox, and now I get error 13 and 14. But, my brother is talking to someone about that and he is trying to help.

if you fit a modchip you can fix it easily.. Smile
With a modchip fitted and a hacked bios running you can boot the Auto Installer Deluxe and choose to LOCK THE HDD again! Smile

Anyway, good luck with it and sorry i couldnt be of more help

I can unlock the hard drive by getting a mod-chip? Because the hd is locked and I don't know the password to ulock it. Isn't the eeprom the password, because I can't find the right password for it, could you help me? And where would the password be located in?

if you don't have the password then you are fucked and your hd is paperweight
