I have an Xbox with the Thomson Drive - I read from the tutorial about the types of media that it will read:
Thomson Drive:
Will not read CD-R
Will only read SOME (generally expensive media) CD-RW
Reads all DVD-R/RW
Reads all DVD+R/RW
I tried some DVD+RW (with video) and it seems to work - but
Doesn't like any DVD+RWs with data on or any DVD-Rs that have video. I have burned with Nero, DVD Decrypter etc. all at low burning speeds (x2)
So, I want to put in a burnt AID disc, but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas on what media I need to buy for me to boot with AID?
Thanks!

Can I FTP the AID and run as an app or do I need to boot from the DVD?

I don't see why not?? I mean I burned in to my HDD via DVD2xbox and it worked fine but if you have everything why waste the DVD-R just FTP it. Its will take longer but hell it will work _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

Well, I think this is odd...
I burned a couple of DVD+RW different brands with AID, both did not get recognized by the boot sequence or Evox dash - but when I put the DVDs in when I had XBMC open, the AID come up.
I thought the issue was with hardware not software. Any ideas?
Thanks!
