When I soft modded my xbox I used this file Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v2.0.Xbox-Hq.rar file using the splinter cell exp. Now I know I can't play on xbox live with this, but I was reading that with sid 4.5 I could play on xbox live. So I was wonder how exactly would I install 4.5 if I already have a softmodded xbox? Would I have to do it the same way with splinter cell? I'm running the soft mod with a seagate 120 gig hd, would upgrading mess with my saved games and emulators? I read the pdf file that came with sid 4.5, but it shows you how to do it with a unmodded xbox. Thanks in advance for any help -erick

Well you could just revert to the backup which SoftMod Auto Installer would have made before you did everything..
So, Insert the Splinter Cell game and boot the menu again for the SID installer.. You should be able to make your xbox back to RETAIL..
Then just start the process again..
