Hey guys
Right, i booted up my xbox this morning and it all came on fine. So i use the option 'Play games from Hard Drive' and i loaded up Halo from the hdd.
I then accidentally knocked the power switch and the xbox turned off. When i booted up again, Evox gave me the "MS Dash/Reboot/Power Off/Settings/Backup" menu. I can't get it to boot to the main menu. I checked the MS Dash and all of my games and saves are still in there, but for some reason it just boots straight to this menu. Help desperately appreciated.

where does ur bios look to boot the evox dash
check that location and ensure the
evoxdash.xbe
evox.ini
are there. The INI file may even be corrupt, open it see if it is editable. Its more likely the INI file that is wrecked thats why ur booting the M$ dash

Not sure if this would work but you could try loading AID 3.0 (the iso disc that you burn), and formatting the hard drive, (Make sure you have a ms dash backup and all that first), then reinstall the softmod and dash. Its worth a try =)

Hey guys thanks for your replies. I can't get any info about what the hard drive is booting to. All it does is boots to the wrong menu. I am going to try booting the aid disc and reinstalling the mod software. I'll post again with the results.
Here's hoping for the best....

Muhaha, I had a deep gut feeling that, that would work. The only thing I wasn't sure of is if it still played burned dvds, Enjoy!

you would need to edit a copy of the 4983.06 bios using XBTOOL and check the dash boot path settings. But if ur sorted never mind
