if it doesn't boot original games then your dvd drive is fucked

You might want to change just the laser (only $9.99 + shipping)
alot cheaper than the hole drive that's if it's the laser and not your motor??? you need to find out what's not working Confused

I can hear the disc spinn when you put it in and it ejects fine, but Yeah I think replacing the laser would actualy be the best thing to do here, but first I think im gonna pop open the drive and see if I can clean it first and see what that does. I do know that it is a drive problem though so we'll see how the cleaning goes today.

Thanks yall

The old infinite clock loop, if the Xbox is unmodded leave it uplugged from the main for about 5 hours, when you plug it back in it gives you an option to set the clock, do so, it should be ok after that? If that's not enough then your stuck in a clock loop that can only be solved by installing a modchip and a bios that will bypass the clock check permanently.. Smile
