Yes i did run my new hd before.
I did make a xbdm with my drives from the org xbox hd to my new Hd..
On xbhdm , the folder EEPROM i did only put the eeprom.bin
now see on the folder C is a differnt story it contains a folder callede backup which has/contains :
BIOS
DISK
EEPROM (dont know why its also there )
HDINFO.txt
HDKEY
also on the C there is also these folders :
Backup (which contains the files i wrote)
FONTS
SID
SKIN
TRAINERS
and
these files
evox(a txt file)
EVOXDASH.XBE
XBOXDASH.XBE

ok as long as you have your eeprom.bin then we are good, basicly we are going to make another xhdm1.9 disc using on C a retail ms dash and noting on E , but the eeprom.bin as well.. so that you turn on your xbox with new hd it will load the ms dash then re mod from there.
the retail ms dash can be found from our member pirrup under his signiture OR on the newbie section look for a thread that is sticky " useful links" do you understand what im saying? lol or im made it confusing? _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Sounds a bit confusing.
I have dl the file : ms-c-hosted-by-pirrup
so now i need to do a xbohdm again like this :
Dl the MS C from Pirrup.
Replace the C folder with his file(the file i just dl)
Keep the Eeprom.bin from the eeprom folder
then just make a iso with xbohdm (like i did before) and then just take it from there ?
Did i understand it correctly ??
But does the eeprom also goes to the folder E or just on the folder EEPROM in xboxhdm ?

yea prety much thats it . download the ms dash from pirrup and extract it . since its going to be zipped.. once extracted transfer it to xboxhdm/C ... make sure noting else is on the C prior to transfer. forget the E and tranfer the eeprom.bin burn the disc and re do the whole thing.

i did make a new xboxhdm with the eeprom in the right folder and everything.
I went into xboxhdm and i triede to unlock it so i could wipe the fatx and make a new xbox hd , but iw otn let me open the hd :
Security supported YES
Security enebled yes
Security locked yes
I should also say that i have also tried the atapwd ,hdunlock,hdlock files on floppy disc .. (did not work)
I triede entering both the HDD KEY and the XBOXHDKEY both failed.
I dont get it , i have the Eeprom.bin file i have the passwords/keys , why wont it work , have i just brunt out my HD ?

no lol , basicly you used the wrong eeprom.bin or password to lock it causing you to get error 06. try to make the hd but dont try to unlock it . maybe it works notsure... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

xboxhdm wont let me make a fatx and i cant unlock or lock the drive.
I dont understand..
When i installede the new hd does it get the same EEprom as the "old/ORG" Hd ??

u use the same code you locked it with. meaning the same old disc, then after its unlocked your going to do the process again but make sure the eeprom.bin works lol otherwise you just get error 06 again _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
