SO i do all the soft installer stuff make the cd got the epprom and c and e of the modded xbox. Now Im going to replace it with a 160 and i but all the stuff on the new one no prob. Put it in says error 06. I locked it with xboxhd says the password is xboxscene. So what now?? Thanx In advance

Just using a program called xboxhd 1.9 And i transferred the c and e from the alrady modded stock 8gb into the folders in xboxhd 1.9 and also the eeprom into the eeprom folder then made a iso

I know its from a modded xbox is it softmoded? What version SID was used to softmod the xbox? cant help you without detailed info. _________________
Well, SID 4.5 is out now, so that could be a problem.

well 06 in other words wrong eeprom.bin .... unlock the hd and lets work on the stock modded hd and we can get you going sooner then you expect.... + if you never been on xbox live with stock hd then you can use the upgrade one for it ... using sid 4.5 _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

ok so you have sid 2 and your running the dash xbmc , do you have aid 3 ? can you get sid 4.5 exploits? they are in aid 3 or you download them off the net. you see when your upgradint the hd via xboxhdm you dont lock it typing is the xbox scene password , insted you put on the xhdm C folder a retail ms dash EEPROM folder goes your eeprom.bin burn it then make the partitoins then on the step to locking you do lockhd -a exactly like that , then you enjoy new hd . ... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

well thats how i did it i tols it to use the eeprom of the cd i built from the old hd but it still said xboxscene. so i got frustrated and got another xbox took the eeprom off it made a cd then just put it in that xbox so oh well but thatnx for the help anyway guys

a eeprom is a UNIQUE special assiged code for each xbox to reconise with its motherboard... in other words if you grab another hd and stick it on your xbox you get error 06 since the eeprom is difrent.
well if you really want to do this get aid 3 and let me know once it plays on your modded xbox then from there we start over . _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
