Hi Everyone,

You know how we can transfer any file from computer to xbox via FTP?

Well, it's a pain for me to setup my laptop, and router, plug it in, etc, etc, etc.

I just want to transfer .avi, .mpg, mp3's, etc. So I can watch them on my Xbox Media Center without the hassle.

I've tried making an Xbox iso using xISOv0.9.1, on a CD-RW at 8x burn, but it didn't read. Then I just did a straight burn on a CD-RW at 4x burn, and again the Xbox doesn't detect anything.

Am I missing something here? How do I format the CD's so that Xbox can just simple read the files and I can transfer it over using Boxplorer.

Thanks everyone.

if its videos or music just use a normal burning method dont need to use xiso. And It could be the cds your using, xboxes are picky when it comes to burning media.

hey, thanks for your reply. ok, well I'd rather burn it on an RW instead of something permanent. I'll try again. I'll use a 4x burn instead and see what happens.

You need to just find the right media.. Thats all it is..
Once you get the rightmedia it will work everytime.

I would suggest using XBMC and the fileexplorer.. Smile
XBMC is a kick ass dashboard..
