Alright it was a stock softmodded harddrive then we tried using Auto installer deluxe for various reasons anyway, So it didnt work and said code ?? and didnt boot anything. So we took it out and I got the eeprom off my xbox and created a iso with xboxhdm 1.9 So i hottswapped and got it to unlock then installed the xboxhdm thing on it. Everything worked fine during install. Then unplugged the ide from my comp the plugged the ide from box to the hard drive turned on the box and it said code 12 error. So I took my xbox hd out put it in there and it had an error also but works fine in mine. So what now?? Thanx in advance

If the hdd is still stock and works in yours but not the other box, the EEPROM is for the your box. Each Xbox has it's own identity. The box that you are trying to mod... you'll need it's EEPROM for softmodding purposes. You can't use AID 3 unless you have one of the games such as Mech Warrior or Splinter Cell (the original retail version only). _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
