I was wondering if anybody could help me solve a problem with my friend's Xbox.
Whilst using the SID 4 and 4.5 thing with Splinter Cell, the process will run fine until installed and I need to reboot. Once rebooted everything is black and white, the dashboard, MS dashboard and XBMC dash. I've gone through the dash settings and it says Video Standard unknown. Could this be the problem?
I read the stickied post about B & W, and tried the pal.zip fix, but to no avail. I'm currently trying to get a copy of Enigmah video convertor on via FTP. will it boot from the drive, or does it need to be on a CD/DVD?
any help would be appreciated.
edit: if i load the dashboard through the colour nknave (whatever it's called) it'll come out in colour. so only when i use the power on instead of opening the tray it comes up black and white.

this is a very very very old problem we first encountered with SId 4 and PAL xboxes, so please use SID 4.5 and you shall have no problems what so ever. _________________ Xbox v1.1
