i finished my softmod and now i want to look at the ms dashboard and evox wont let me it is highlited red so i cant get to it how can i get to the ms dash please help me im a neewbie and i have been at this for a day and a half now any input is very appreciated

you should of gotten the latest softmod (s) sid 4.0 and above ..... you know you can go to xbox live with these right? i take it thats your purpose for loading ms dash?

I've had that same problem and was able to fix it...its a pretty simple process....all i need is a run down on wat dash your running....wat SID and if u have AID 3.11 final...oh and check your c:/ partition...and tell me was files u have in there...i want to see if it really is the same problem i had...if it is i can help u fix it...the reason your MS Dash is highlight red is because it really isn't there...evox looks for xboxdash.xbe but wats in your c:/ is msdash.xbe so evox doesn't see it....just renaming the file will not work...there is a way around it...jus give me the info requested...note that if your trying to get on XBL then i won't be able to help because after this fix you won't be able to go on XBL...if u want to get on XBL i'd say get a slayers disc and restore your msdash then use SID 4.0 as gus said.
