got a maxtor 80 gb hdd, was using it as my computers master drive so know it works
i've put it in xbox ver1.1 fitted with xcuter2.6ce 5035 bios
i get the xbox logo the coruption No13 and freezes got Aid 3.0 in cd tray
i've formated the hdd with xboxhdm but not copied across c drive from my xbox, i still get the same fault

i've put a 10gb in to xbox with Aid 3.0 in cd tray and everything works as it should and i can format and load the 10 gb hdd

can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong

Check the jumper on the hdd to make sure it is on cable select.
