okay, i was going to recover an xbox live account and i went to uninstall the softmod. it said error, so then i attempted to reinstall the softmod then uninstall. backup eeprom works fine, backup mod works fine, when i go to do backup ms files it says error MODDED FILES. then im like wtf? so later i just turned my xbox off and now i cant get into evox, an error screen comes up with the error code 21, and later on i go back and try the same stuff again. now i cannot even get into the ms dash board, it has error code 21 as well, i can only play games, and that is it, so i can still get into the sid4 installer menu though through splinter cell. could someone please help me out here and just get me my original files back?

try and see if you can use splinter cell to get your softmod program to work if not then your gonna have to do a hotswap if you have no back ups of the xbox on your computer. _________________

yea i can get the actual mod to get going but when i try to install it says, there is no ms backup, and i cannot back it up because it says that it is modded.

select restore ms and restore eeprom that should fix the problem, then remod _________________

tryed all that already, is there some way i can just get all the files? other than getting someones xbox and ftping them? cuz all my friends have 360s. yea also it says my backup is missing.

i dont know, i was installing linux and some stuff got deleted then i think, and that when it happened. i can create a mod backup and eeprom back so they are there, but i cannot create a ms backup nor do i have one.
