No i cant get to any dash. no matter which way i turn it on it comes up as error 16.

There are corrupt files that preventing any dash to load. What those files are is anyone guess.
A moddchip will help but not fix the problem. You will also need AID3 to install the dashes (m$dash and hacked) and other applications.
The hotswap will also rebuild your hdd. You can use your own pc. Just unhook the hdd from your system. Nothing will be harmed. Your pc will not be rendered useless. Follow the hotswap tutorial step for step. Don't cut corners or overthink anything. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

If i get a chipinstalled would any dash load?
If so couln t i then just put the ms dash on a cd there then install it on my xbox.

Yes, chipped or softmodded....use AID3 to install the dashes onto the xbox. I contains all the dashboards used for the xbox as well as the m$dash. It will automatically load them on. Just pick the dash and where to install it. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

If you put in a chip it won't FIX it, but it will allow you to boot a disk (like AID 3.0) that WILL FIX it! _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!
