is it possible to share harddrives between 2 xboxs?
i've got 2 xboxs, 1 chipped with X3 and the other X2.6, both running EvoX dashboards. now the X3 has a larger HD loaded with games etc (that i dont have disks for any more!), and the X2.6 has the retail HD.
so.... is it possible to access the X3 HD thru the dashboard on the X2.6???
as in play games, music etc using the system link cable. even if its just a case of temporarily copying the files over would be a start!
any help appreciated! _________________ XBOX v1.0:

If you no longer have the original disks it is still considered piracy. There is no way to play games through the network, so even if these were legit games, you couldn't do what you want to. I'd suggest finding these games so that you aren't breaking any types of laws, as you are supposed to destroy any backup that you no longer own the original within 24hrs of non-ownership. _________________

noted. so when i do find the disks (the reason i got 2 Xboxs is the reason i cant find the disks: little brothers...) and are legal, can i copy the files thru the network? these disks are probably sctratched beyond saving (which is why they're on my hd) _________________ XBOX v1.0:

I believe with avalaunch you can ftp from xbox to xbox. That's the only way I've heard of without the use of a pc, if you have a pc, just transfer to the pc then to the xbox. _________________

Get Xbox FTP...its a program for your xbox that allows u to ftp from xbox to xbox without the need of a computer. If you already know how to ftp from your computer....u shouldn't have any trouble with this app...and about playing off a diffrent HDD on anther xbox...its not possible...u will have to make backup copies on DVD-R for the retial HDD...its the easiest way to play one game on 2 boxes
