We need more info is it a softmoded xbox or chiped? and if its a softmoded xbox did you backup your eeprom.bin ?

hmm seemd to me that i have the same problem also i used xboxhdm to make a hard*80gb Western Digital* and now im getting error 05....the stock hdd use to give me error 16 so i backed it up and hotswiped and everything and it still doesnt work i dont know what else to do but doing a mod chip is my last resort

djchase > it is not locked end result 05. you cannot lock it since you dont have an eeprom.bin why you dont have one? because we have to hotswap your retail hd first then re mod the retail hd and then get eeprom to prep new hd man....
