I share 3 HDDs between two xbox. 2 of the 3 work fine on each, but one drive FRAGs/Error 06 in only one xbox. I've looked up the code... HDD can't be unlocked... huh? Any ideas why this happens and, more importantly, how I can stop it?

first, error 6 means it is unable to unlock the hdd. each xbox has an individaul eeprom, if you are using ms bios to run this hdd you need to configure the epromm. but if you have the eeprom correct, and still get error 6.... well load a auto-installer disc and lock the hdd. see, if the hdd is unlocked then the xbox wont be able to unlock it because it is already unlocked. when you run the installer, it will let you lock it, as far as running the hdd in a different xbox, that xbox would have to be running a different bios other than the m$ bios. or you could configure the eeprom. i hope this was of some help. _________________ XBOX360

Thanks Revolver! I'll try runnin' the autoinstaller and locking it, but if my memory serves me well, this is the only HDD that IS locked! Don't think I locked the others!
