i was using the 8mb card that came with the software and loader but yes i do have another card.i'm going to try this and see what happens.thanks a lot i was begining to think i was hopeless.but if it worked for you i'm back in busuness glad you got yours up and running finaly i'll let you know how i make out.thanks again

i think you could be right about the disc being the problem.i bought it from a second hand store in town and it looks like somebody played floor hockey with it...but it reads in the drive.i never exactly played it though to see if worked i only bought it for the mod.i have splinter cell for the computer never really treid playing it with controllers.
it's sad how poeple treat discs

I am having same problem. I had AUF exploit working before which was the one with evox installer from xbins and i didn't install it i just used it to ftp. I did the same exact things as you guys and i highly doubt it would be the memory card. I tried both AUF & Mech Assault, the first version of the dvd not platnium hits. I deleted all the gamesaves too for them games and put on SID installer to the hard drive. I've tried this on 2 xbox's and still had the same problem....What about hotswapping to get this to work?

I used the card from the action replay and after a extensive thread in this forum a while back on how to mod the xbox memmory card I decided 2 months later to get a new card the madcatz card that my boy Hellblazer told me to get from walmart and I loaded it in yesterday and I loaded my box with da AUF in it and it worked
