Alright so I just intalled my softmod using Splinter Cell and Softmod Installer Deluxe v2, and I am using FlashFTP. I go to my network settings on my dashboard and it says my IP is 0.0.0.0 It was working find last night, but now it won't even connect to the internet. What is the problem?

You don't say what dash it is, but set it to DHCP and see if the Xbox will discover the proper IP's as given by the router. That's your most likely issue. The default IP for an xbox is 0.0.0.1 for Xbox live by the way. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

It is the standard Evolution X dashboard that comes with the softmod intaller deluxe v2. I don't know how to set it to DHCP. And yes, my xbox is connected to a router.

okay, you want me to read your FTP tutorial?
and how do I do the DHCP thing?
Edit: I already know how to FTP, I did it last night, but I only copied my C drive to my computer. When I tried to reconnect to copy the rest of the folders, it couldn't find the connection, so I checked out my settings on the xbox, and the IP adress changed from what it was to 0.0.0.0

under system/settings, It has all my information crap, but it still says the IP is 0.0.0.0. An I would download the newer version but I can't get any torrent files to download properly.

yes i wanted u to read my tut .... but its easy
once u go to settings... where u see static change it and u get dhcp go to the bottom of the list and click on SAVE then i think its going to say to turn off or restart xbox.. do so and then u should have dhcp....
