Most torrent files are in a RAR format and will require Winrar or something like it to extract them to a single file. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

The torrent files must be in a rar format, some are in other formats depending upon what kind of torrent has been downloaded. Rar is only one format. It may be that the torrent is corrupted as well, might have your client check it for errors. What torrent client are you using for your downloads? Utorrent? Azeurus? ABC? _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Torrent files are basicly scripts for a Torrent client (uTorrent, Azeurus, and etc.) to download files from other users computers. After you D.L. the files they should be in .RAR format then you use WinRAR (or another RAR program) to open them. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

I am using BitComet, and when I try to download a torrent, nothin happens. It says connecting to tracker, waiting for response, and nothing happens. I tried other clients too and its all the same.

Ah ha. Port issues. Be sure to open your firewall to the client, you may also need to port forward your router to allow the connection. So in essence, you are attempting to unrar something that hasn't even been downloaded. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
