Thanks to all the guys who took time out to help me save my xbox from going out the window thanks guys and keep p the good work couldnt have done it with out you.

I've never done a hotswap yet (will someday ), but from what I read they are quite tricky to get right.

yes m8 did it with the disk in i think the problem i was was with my pc ide cablles i used brand bew ones i had and it worked first time
