Hello there! I hope I'm asking in the right place...
I have an Xbox with Aladin and a Evox Dashboard. I WAS working great, a few months ago I was unable to acccess the original dashboard, it throws an error and tells me to contact the service support.
Well, also some games just stop working For example Burnout Revenge. I tried to burn a new backup version, and it stills freeze on the loading screen. What's odd is that I tested on other xbox and it worked. I've dumped it to HD and it start working
I have a lot of other games that are just the same (GTA SA, Doom 3, Far Cry...)
Could it be a problem with my dvd reader? Is it possible to detect? How can I access the game data of my Xbox, I was wondering if I erase those games' data it could help...
If someone please care, I'd like some help on this
Best Regards

Being that you have an Aladdin chip, how long ago did you mod it. The reason I ask is because if it plays off ther HDD but not the disc, you might have to update your dvd2xbox to the newest version. _________________

did it possibly get unplugged for very long around the time this started, if so. check your date on it, sometimes when the date resets some games are unplayable, most aren't affected at all
,All they had to do was reset the date then it worked just fine. I've seen this happen on other peoples systems.. Just a thought anyways.

Thanks all for the help, but I still have the problem.
Few questions also. Why should I upgrade dvd2xbox? since on the HD the game is running (its just a question)
My datetime Never worked. According to the seller is due the Allading mod chip. A long time ago (1 year and something) when my x was working ok, It updated the time everytime I turned it on cuz it was connected to the internet. Now it does not event work the net on it, I guess it's dying...
I'm thinking in upgrade the evoX could it help? Well also why the original dashboard would not be working?

the newer versions have always have less bugs in them so i would do some upgrading, dvd2xbox is uptodate and the newer games can be backed up with the dvd2xbox 0.7.4 which is the latest. _________________
