I "sucsesfully" installed SID 4.5 on a 160 Gig drive using MechAssault with 5960, Evox dash and Ndure option. PAL machine V1.5 I used xboxhdm to prep the drive
All is pretty good and I'm impressed. The only problem is that I have a stack of backed-up games which won't play. I also have a chipped box and they all work fine on that.
I've tried playing from the DVD drive - Dirty disk, or hangs just after first screen
Instaling the ISO via Qwix - Seems to instal but then just gets as far as "press start" then hangs when I press it.
Copy to HDD with DVD2Xbox - copy module gets stuck in loop, or if it copys OK then it sticks on the loading screen
About half of the games have worked perfectly either off disk or HDD but the other half just refuse.
I have two retail games and they were both fine in modded state, retail and DVD2Xbox
Is it an issue with SID or is it just my backups?
Been trying to figure it out all day. Any ideas?

try clearing the cache it worked for me

Hurah!
I cleared the caches and most of them work off of DVD now.
Thanks for your help, I should of asked earlier.
The ones that didn't run straight from disk I'll rip back to PC and try FTPing them straight to HDD. I'll post again and let you all know how it worked out.
If I run into any problems in the future, should I clear out the caches again.
Is is safe to do so? I've just had a look and there are two 280M and two 80M files in caache Y and a 180M and 520M in X.
If I'd known how good this mod was, and how helpful these forums were I wouldn't of spent £40 on an X3 last month.
