Let me preface by saying Thanks guys for all your help. I am a total noob and my questions are basic, but I find myself learning a ton from your advice! Now to the problem...I had softmodded my xbox with SID 2 and everything seemed to be fine except my dvd2xbox. When I would rip games, I couldn't find them on the HDD. So, I thought I should install the Evox onto my E: drive to see what would happen. Because I still have my original HDD, I deleted the Evox from the C: to free up space. After the install, I powered down and restarted to find that Error 13 came up. My box still reads original games so I don't think I am sunk yet. Should I just go through the softmod process from scratch to fix this problem? I wanted to get opinions before I did something to totally screw myself from using my xbox ever again. You guys RULE!!!

Here is what I would do:
Download SID4.5. 2 is fine, but outdated. If you can boot games, run the exploit again. While your in the softmod menu, replace your C: with the files in pirrups signature(origanl MSdash) through FTP. Then backup MS, install dash, and your using SID4.5 now.
BTW, with softmods, you can't run your default dash off of anything but your C:. If you could, it would make going on XBL much easier. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Yes, that would be an easy fix. But I suggest you upgrade to SID 4 or 4.5. _________________ XBOX V1.4

there u have it .... diffrent ways of fixin ur xbox but i think that u should put somting to load up then from there we can take care of the diffrent choices of the softmods ... so coldboot or exploitable game load the mod then from their FTP UR XBOX so u can have ur SAVED INFO on ur pc hd.. then from their re install sid 2 as if it was the first time.. u know create ms bcak up then install softmod or however u did it the 1st time.. then from their u have full acess to ur box then come back and we can talk on what to choose from...
or u can also do it the other way the other member suggested but i think this is kinda good to not risk any mistakes.... btw sid 4.0 is safer while 4.5 is a bit better for xbl and its a MUST for pal users.. otherwise if ur kinda noob to this then i'd say stick with sid 4.0.. laterz.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
