Hello there,
I am new to xbox softmodding and ran into a little problem while beggining to put my emulators on my xbox.
First of all, I don't know if this will affect anything, but I used a friend's memory card to install "Linux Installer" and the data from Splinter Cell to run it and install EvolutionX.
I made the back up files, installed it, and all that is done. So now I was going to start downloading some emulators. I downloaded a free FTP protocol called "SmartFTP."
So I got my IP address on my xbox and typed it in, but then I kept getting an error message "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine."
I've tried changing my IP address on my xbox but it doesn't work.
My default IP address on my xbox is 192.168.0.2, I don't know if that will help you at all.
I was wondering if anyone could help me clear up this problem so I can start downloading emulators.

Check to make sure that you have pasv turned off in smartftp if your using evox, or use AID and install another dashboard like unleashx, which should work fine in either mode. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

I'd agree with gus. I had all kinds of trouble with smartFTP, then switched to flashFXP and that solved everything. _________________

Ok, thanks guys I'll try downloading flashFXP when I get home, since I'm at school.
