Hi guys I have been trying to softmod my xbox all day with no success.What I did was use a modded xbox to transfer the Spinter Cell saves from the aid32 disc onto a memory card then transfer to another xbox. Then i used the Splinter Cell game and loaded the save file. Before I installed anything I backed up my c drive so I could restore back if I messed it up. I must have done something wrong as I get the green screen when it boots up,also when I try and restore my backup it seems to restore but the xbox still gives the green screen with error code.I can still but up the Splinter Cell game and load the save but can’t get the softmod to work.

well which one did you put on there SID 3 or SID 4? SID 3 wont let u get back to msdash. You should have backed up your eeprom and msdash. Then install softmod with evox or unleashx. Then backup mod. _________________ Moddingbandit

I'm not sure mate.Whatever save game that was on the autoinstaller 3.1 final.At the minute i can still load up my Splinter Ceel game and run the save game to get into the softmod menu but what will i do now mate ?

you mean autoinstaller 2.11 final which your using SID 3.0.
Also can you provide the error code if you can. That way we can decide on how to go about it. _________________

I think my only hope at the moment is that the game save exploit is still on my hardrive and i can still boot into the softmod menu but still can't get it to work and still getting error codes of 13,14,21.
The softmode menu says sid3.1 final if that matters.

i usually get error 21's softmodding if i forget to install the hacked dash loader, assuming you're using the nkpatcher method with SID 3.1 final. first what i would do though is to reinstall the ms dash with the AID 3.0 disc and start the softmod process over since you said you can at least load the softmod gamesave menu. other than that, just follow the guide carefully that came with the softmod version you're using and you really shouldn't be having any problems.
