Greetz,
Has anyone ever put a laptop lcd screen on the Box before? I'm just asking because I have an extra Screen at my disposal off of a compaq. I think I might be able to splice the wires off of a video cord??? Any Ideas?

I use a SyncMaster 510mp monitor
when i goto play hub match's.
it makes the xbox look like a
desktop pc with the monitor sat
on top.
The syncmaster has S-video imputs
and 21 pin scart.
also cool for playing xbox live
in the back garden (like yesterday)
as the monitors matt finish
screen doesn't reflect the
light.

That's pretty cool that you us a monitor like that, that's what I'm trying to hook up but I'm using a 17in. Presario 900 screen, and it doesn't have any S-video ports. It came directly out of a laptop and has the factory connections for the comp... I was wondering if anybody has done the same or similar to what I'm trying... I set it on top and figured out that it fits perfectly and would be Wicked if I got it working...

NOPE,
I ended up scrapping the whole thing because I was moving back to the states. I sold the screen to somebody while I was still in Japan. Im now trying to get another one so that I can continue the work. I had all of the pinouts for the screen and was ready to work on it, but I had to leave.
