Is it possible to turn in off so if I'm going on to Live I won't get banned?
If so want to tell me how?

SID 3 and prior involved restoring the m$dash then reinstalling the softmod after you were done with live...a lot of work just to get on live.
SID 4 has the dual boot option, power button for the softmod and eject button for retail.
