Reinstalled the Softmod (SID4).. still not working.. There must be something wrong with my system.. incompatible or conflicting with Forza.. Since Yoshi got it to work on his v1.6 xbox.. I have to deem this is an isolated case.. _________________ XBOX v1.6:

i have ux i dont think that matters but what mode and dash did u choose????

I'm using EvoX as my dash. and I am running Dual Retail mode for the softmod.. I'll keep trying. Once I find a solution I will post back.. _________________ XBOX v1.6:

try messin around with file manager explore.. on the game of course... wait ohh that sucks u cant u have evo-x . er would it matter if u have ux?? lol what kind of stupid queston but would it be worth it chagin dash just toget that game play?? _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Just an update...
No, i haven't figured out what is wrong with Forza and my v1.6. However I discover something very unusual.
I just found out that even when using my original game on DVD I still get a black screen..!! at any time when i try to boot up this game on the original DVD or HD backup from a Softmod dash. I get a blank. HOwever if I booted the xbox th M$Dash. the Original DVD will run fine..
Anyone has experienced this before..? Any suggestions..?? _________________ XBOX v1.6:

uninstall softmod n retail ux this time ..
or do single mod 2 see if it works..

Thanks Gus.. I have already tried looking for a patch . but it seems like dvd2xbox is updated with all the ACL.. going to keep trying..

Interesting thread. I am having the same issue with Dragon Ball Z Sagas which put on my little dudes hdd that is also softmodded. One indication is that it may be a memory conflict between the game and the dashboard.
I'm currently using XBMC on little dudes 1.6, so I was thinking of trying to add or change his box to another dash and see if that will get rid of the black screen.

i burnd 2 the hd dbz sagas perfectly fine . umm i fix my prob w/ dbz sagas by runnin english mah swticher BUT i didnt switch it All i did was click B ntsc settings and i turn it off and load the game from dvd2xbox and works like a charm _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
