FIRST OF ALL:
I KNOW THERE IS SUCH A THING BECAUSE I HAD A FRIEND THAT FIGURED IT OUT AND IT WAS EASY
I had a friend that modded (both hard and soft) over 29 times
He finaly got tired of asking for 2 months around on his ligit accounts so he decided to do some research
He found that you can get your xbox unbanned and you can get your halo2 account unbanned as well
He moved and when he did he dropped his comp and his xbox (smart one put them in the same box and took them down the stairs) so all those files are gone
There was something to do with the eprom (i know i cant spell) and he downlouded a soft mod patch or soemthign that made his "immune" to the xbox live mod screen so he didnt get banned
To be on the safe side he didnt go all out to make it noticable he just kept the secret between his friends and he let the other team win and/or make the game look close so there was no controversy
These things exists... i know hackers have done it before and they were shut down but their files are still out there
And i also heard about a XBOX LIVE 2, 3, and 12 month key gen but most attempts to perfect it failed
I heard that there is a mutant version that will work but only the first 5 will work
If anyone has any info, links, or the programs themselves share with the world of modders because we are your friends too. And you will be very honored with your efforts.

Perhaps I'm just getting old and cranky. I'm from the PC gaming days where half the time was spent getting DMA channels right (default 5) and matching video card drivers to get the game to play in the first place.
I'm missing the magic of XBL I guess for personally, that's all too much work and worry when I've got KAI!
There is also XBConnect, so why in the world would anyone bother?
Like I said, I guess I'm just burnt out on troubleshooting games instead of headshooting in the games.

Just wait til the shark acquires his 360, he will know what live is all about then, well atleast for a month. It's a really great service.
Anyways onto the topic at hand. I don't believe that it's even possible now to play a modded xbox on live (without switching the mod off). You can use SID4 which allows a quick switch feature to allow you to play games on live, then boot right back into the mod afterwards, or you can use a modchip and turn it off before you go on live, however if you go on live with a mod on, you will be banned. If you use some type of cheating tactic on Halo2 Bungie will "drop the banhammer" thus making it where you can't play matchmaking anymore, you can make custom games and invite people to them still, you just can't play matchmaking.
The topic of key gens will not be discussed here, I would assume that you know that using a keygen is just like stealing a $50 card from the local walmart. I doubt these work at all, and most are probably virii in hiding. If you really want a free 2 month card, buy a live game, they normally have them in there, also ask your local gamestop employee, they normally have one or two behind the counter to give out.
Guys, xbox live is a great service, it doesn't even cost $5 a month, you most definitely can afford this if you have any type of income (allowance/job/sexual favors). This is the main reason that xbox is better than sony's and nintendo's offerings. Please don't cheat/defraud this service. _________________

Perhaps that's true Sjohn and when I ever get my 360, I'll be sure to at least try the trial. (sigh) I was going to try to buy a 360 with my tax return when it comes, but right now, even if I had the money, I wouldn't be able to find one. I'm not going to stress it until maybe spring time.
Besides, I suspect that the money is already earmarked for bills anyways.
