I wzs wondering how to put msdash 5960 on my xbox that was modded with SID V2, I have the ms-c.zip from auto installer, so what do I do now??

I believe that games like Halo 2 will update the dash for you automatically.

If you already have AID 2.11, in the softmod menu select the nkpatcher+m$dash. That will upgrade your dash as well as softmod (SID3). _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Yes you can upgrade to SID4. Through SID4 you would have to install the games saves to the hdd....basically redo the softmod. By way of XED (disc.iso), which is an auto-installer, you can select to install over an exhisting softmod.

Not nessessarily.
Sorry, let my try and clear it up.
The gamesaves in this case are for SID 2.
If you would want to upgrade the softmod and if you don't have any auto installer, you would have to delete the old gamesaves and replace them with the new ones (SID 3 or 4). Then put the game in and redo the softmod or I should say install over the old softmod.
If you have an auto installer (AID or XED) , you can simply install over the exhisting softmod.
SID 4 requires the 5960 m$dash in order to be installed. So, xtreemliving033 would has to upgrade the dash (which is what he wants to accomplish) before he can upgrade the softmod. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

I forgot the 5960 part and that makes all the sense.
I still believe that when run Halo 2 updates to that dash automatically but since all my dashes are 5960, I can't confirm it.

SID4 does _not_ require 5960 to be installed. However dual boot option in SID 4.0 does require 5960.
If you don't have original Halo 2 or else - ftp dashupdate.xbe from any new game and run it via SID 4 file manager...
