Hey guys. Just completely ruined my softmodded xbox i think. I just wanted to install a new softmod so that my MSDASH would work but now my xbox won't start the dash and and I get error 21. Xbox will also no longer read AID but will read games. I think the thing somehow killed my msdash. How do i fix this? Also, I had tons of data on that drive. I would like it back. Any help is greatly appreciated.

actually, you will need to softmod the xbox again with the game that you orginally softmodded it with, and thats asumming that the game save is still on the hdd... otherwise you will prolly either need to chip or hotswap _________________ XCM Halo 2 blue case

sid4 is scrip so ppl that dont know about softmods such as u wont mess up ..
the reason sid3 is mess up cuz its not scripted the way sid4 was ..
IF I WERE U then i try sid4 and see waht happens from there
funny the thing is to fix ur xbox is a matter of seconds and ur makin a big deal out of it ..
and things get worser cuz chips arent free exactly + the installation of either soilderin which is dangrous cuz u can fuc up and end up w/ no xbox
or soilder less as well.. laterz
JUST PUT UR GAME U ORIGINALY TRY TO SOFTMOD and load the installer and uninstall everyitn ... or re do the mod or somtin.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

i recommend either a Duox2 chip, or the Xecuter 3 CE chip. Chips are really the only safe way to go (as long as its done right.) Depending on what version box you have...looking at previous posts by you now...mmk, no mention of version... Anyhow, if its a 1.4 or older, its easy, simple, and fast...if its a 1.5, its about the same as 1.4 and older, except there are ground issues you need to make sure are taken care of. If its a 1.6 it requires more soldering, but it comes with a free pcb board to make it much easier.
solderless adaptors are about the same, 1.5 and older are much easier, but 1.6 require more points for you to make sure the adaptor makes contact with.

Just to throw a suggestion out there....I like the xenium chips...but anyways, i think you are making a wise decision by buying ANY chip since it is always a lot easier to fix stuff if something randomly happens again....good luck with your decision...later. _________________ Xbox V1.6

ok i have that same problem, just now i fucked it up by trying to insatll ms dash and unleash x. I already had evox but I wanted more options so I d/l ed both but now I have error 21 also. Except for some reason I have nvr been able to use splinter cell again to mod since i first installed it. So is there another way to do it? If hotswap is the only way I will need a tutorial on it. all help is appreciated!
