Am using Splinter Cell to install softmod and have already copied game save etc.

I have done an MS backup and eeprom backup and the did the softmod install to completion of the patched eeprom. Then turned xbox off/on removed disc but all I get is 'Your xbox requires service' with error code 21

I have tried with evo and unleashed dashes without success. Have tried several times, restoring each time before trying again. I have the latest dash which was installed via Halo2 and I am using a PAL xbox. Hope this is enough info and any help would be appreciated.
