Hey everyone,
I was recently just banned from xbox live. I only have a few months left on my subscription and I would like to get the most out of it before it expires. I upgraded my hard drive and just said screw it and kept playing on Live. It caught up to me so anyone with one, PM or respond here. Thanks alot guys! _________________ XBOX v1.6c

Hmm, the eeprom has to be from the same version of xbox, correct?
If so, sorry can't help, i've only got mine(v1.4) that I know for sure hasn't been (and never will be) used on Xbox Live.

Yeah, I tried ebay and there aren't any listed anymore. I'm wondering if Microsoft made Ebay take them off their listings....yeah, I'm sure it needs to be the same version of xbox but I'm not too clear on that either. I found a website that sells EEPROMs for $10 USD. Is that about the right price? I would think so I guess. I'm not too sure about the site but I suppose it's worth a shot, if all else fails, I'm only out $10 bucks. I'll let you know if it's legit! _________________ XBOX v1.6c

Goto x-s and PM zodiiak, he sells them for $10 and has many refs. Any eeprom from 1.0-1.5 will work for 1.0-1.5. If you have a 1.6, only a 1.6 eeprom will work. _________________

T-Rizzle why don't you just use your stock Xbox for Xbox Live. ok. Replacing the network port (nic) on that Xbox might be an easier task than desoldering and resoldering an EEPROM. Also if you make an error, it is your back up Xbox anyway. Don't let me discourage you though if you are set on swapping out the EEPROM. Just email iriciiygifted@aol.com with a blank email containing the word Eeprom. Then he will send you an order form and pay him via paypal 1eeprom for 10$ or 2 for 16$, 1.0 -1.6c eeproms avalible just specify.

since u used upgrade hdd.. then the hd also got banned .. remember m$ registerd not only eeprom but hdd keys n kernal etc.. so gettin a eeprom will let u go 2 live but u neeed to put it on a unbannd hd.. True, but im just showing him where he could go to find a new eeprom, but yes after that he will need to either find a way to change the serial number of his hard drive or get a new one.
