I installed exox with softmod installer deluxe. i put halo 2 in and login but when i try to connect to xbox live immidiatly it says that i cant connect to xbox live. what should i do?
it says my connection type is static i want to change this to DHCP but i cant change it is it possible to change it at all?
and when i dont install exox and i just leave unleashx it wont even let me try signing in it dosnt say connection failed or anything. and in unleashx it is possible to change connection types does this mean i can do it in evox?
i know i cant connect on a static connection type does this mean it will be impossible for me to connect on evox what should i do?

in order to get on live without getting banned u need to switch off the softmod, then what u need to do is go to the M$ dash and then network settings and then change everything to automatic then waht u have to do it turn off ur xbox and turn it on and then u r alll set ur live should b working and in order to change it into static u nned to go in the evox menu settings and then network setting i hope that this helps you _________________ Xbox V4

what softmod installer are you using.
and your lucky you can't connect, most of the new softmods block xbox live, so you don't end up with a banned xbox eeprom, etc... _________________ Xbox v1.1

yeah i installed the version 3 sid and i have the unleashedx installed and when i try to log onto Xbox live its says troubleshoot or cancel like usual but then when i hit start troubleshoot it says something like Customer service needed call support or soemthing like that and then its written in alot of different other languages to what the hells up with that????also yes imanewb it wont let me copy games to my harddrive?????I downlaoded it off this guy not this site and he said there were a few ???apps??? missing?????so can someone help me with that????

SID 3 does not allow you to use xbox live, in fact you can't go on xbox live with any softmod on or a backup (burnt game).
on the other hand, you can upgrade to SID 4, install the Ndure option, and if your xbox is not banned yet, you should be able to go on xbox live by booting with open tray and ORIGINAL games only. _________________ Xbox v1.1
