yes, but the question really is....

will your xbox read it?

Only Samsung xbox DVD drive *got's extra holes* is capable of reading CD-R, while the other's won't.

You can burn CD-RW. Cool

ive actually had luck with an untweaked phillips reading some ri-data brand cd-r. some work and some dont, its more luck that anything

i got a philips drive (with a 1.6 box weirddddd) but it read my cheap 10 for a dolor CD-R so im happy with it(its from a local chinse 99 cent store)

and it also reads DVD-R (15 for 11 bucks) but not expensive DVD-RW idk y but i guess its pickey lol
