Just to throw my $0.02 in here, I can't find a single complaint about my Xecutor 3CE chip with the front panel and LCD. I LOVE it. It is way better than the X2.6CE, just because of the built in bios tools (like HDD prep, and native FTP support).
Even solder install isn't that bad on X3CE for a non-v1.6 box. Though, I have to admidt, installing the USB wires, the control panel wires, and the LCD wires, all on a v1.0 board that has the riser daughter boards for the control ports gets a little tight, and stuff begins to look a little like a rats nest if you don't do it carefully. Still, having that streamline LCD on the box is nice if you use it for videos, mp3's etc. in XBMC...

OK. New problem. The clock will change itself to random time even though I set it up in the MS dashboard. I did some searching and couldn't find a lot of info.
Anyone with help on that ? _________________ =========================

Is it doing that even though the xbox is still plugged in or are you unplugging it? What dash is it that the clock is randomly changing? _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Yes. The XBOX is always plugged in. I'll change the clock in the MS dash (Is there an option to change it in XBMC ? I couldn't find one) and a few hour later it ill change to something else. _________________ =========================

Yes there is an option I think under either Network or System. I can't remember without going in to it and I'm at work. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

I think there is an option for XBMC (as well as most of the other main dashboards) to sync the Xbox clock up to internet time. The problem lies in if you somehow get it confused on what your timezone is, it will move it. Is the time changing to something that is just wrong with the HOUR or is it completely wrong (minute is totally off too)? If it is just the hour, I would suspect that is it. You can either disable the XBMC internet time sync function, or you can try to figure out why/where the problem is with your timezone setting (to be honest, I'm not sure I recall where this is at...it might be in the MSDash or in the XBMC...I just don't recall right now).

The time is completly off. Minutes and all and it's not military time as well.
I found the option to change the time in XBMC. When I get home tomorrow I'll check it again.
I've also disablred the sync to internet time option. _________________ =========================

I checked the clock after a couple of days and it seems fine now. _________________ =========================
