Posted: Mon Nov 28, 2005 3:13 am Post subject: *Perfect* xb game copy, worx on un modded xbox's, possible?
I was wondering if it is at all possible to write the game data (backup of course) to a dvd-r or such and make it work on a UN-modded xbox console.
I have copied games like rainbow six and such successfully but only for them to work on my xbox or other modded xbox's, which have ftp capabilities, still I went into ms dash and put in my copied disk and it worked however wen I tried it on a mates un-modded xbox it did not work.
Any insite would be most appreciated!
I have heard that the xbox disks are specially designed or encrypted so the data is separated and spread in different sections accross the disk, therefore plain dvdr's or even dual layer disks do not work.
I am interested and curious if this is possible!
