ok i have a v1.0 xbox it has a thomson dvd drive i ran SID now i need to instal AID but my pc only has cd burner i tryed burning the aid iso to cdr and cd rw nither worked so i want to know if i can install it thru ftp via my pc i can ftp with xbox

use memorex cd-rw, it works on 1.0 with thompson drive.
as for ftp'ing.....yes but there's some changes needed since files are scripted from D:\ so therefor you'll have to manually install the other Config.xml file that will allow it to run from hdd, and partition.
try burning to cd-rw, i'm sure it will work
