I just softmodded my cousin's XBOX using evox. It was working fine. And then he called me, and said that the blue intallation screen was open when he started his XBOX without a game. He didn't know what to do, so he pressed power and restarted the XBOX. When it started up, it went to the M$ Dash and a "XBOX Live" window popped up trying to update his "Live" account, yet he never set one up. He waits for the update to fail, and tries to exit, but it won't let him. It just keeps going back to trying to update. Games boot up, but no softmod dash... Any ideas on how to fix this? I can FTP to his XBOX next weekend, but in the meantime, is there anything he can do?
Oh! Also...I used Mech Assault to do it...
Any Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue but i was not able to start a game.
If you can boot with a DVD in it, then i suggest u burn AID v2.11 on a DVD-r and boot with it. Re-install the softmod and the hacked dashboard with AID.
If this doesn't work, then i suggest u boot again with Mechassault, and reinstall the softmod with that.
