Hi,
I tried to softmod an XBox today with the otherwise so reliable SID3... Since I got a modded Xbox at my disposal I thought it would be the easiest to use it for transferring the savegames to the Memory Card. I did so by ftping them directly to the Memory Card (which might have been the mistake?).
After booting up the unmodded Xbox and trying to transfer the savegames it only said "corrupted saves"... Now Im pretty sure that the Memory Card is intact, as I used it to transfer other savegames before without the slightest problem (even now, except for the SID3 saves). I also dont think that the Savegames are corrupted on my HD as I still have them on my HD in ZIP format, which should give me an error msg while unpacking if damaged...
Kinda lost here, is there another way to transfer the saves to the memory card using a modded Xbox? I read somewhere that Im supposed to transfer them to E:\ first...but then what? Transferring them to the Memory Card from E:\ doesnt seem to be any different to me...
Or is it a problem with the FTP Transfer? I'm not sure whether I used Binary or ASCII mode, dunno if it makes a difference...

ftp them onto the hdd and then use M$ dash to transfer them onto the memory card seems to work best

Is there any other dash that can do that besides the M$? The modded XBox doesnt have M$ Dash on it and I wasnt really planning on putting it on there either I tried UIX since it's very similar to M$ with no luck...

any file explorer that actually see's the memory card should work. i use Avalaunch and i don't think the built in one does. give XBMC a try like he said, who doesn't have XBMC?

Transferred the saves with UnleashX Save Manager and it worked like a charm, transferring them directly via File Manager prolly wasnt such a good idea

I had the same problem. the problem for me was when I transfered hacked save from modded xbox to memory card I had it in UDATA folder. got rid if the folder and I just had "4d530017"(mechassault save) everything worked fine.
