So i followed Pirrup's hotswap tutorial exactly and the hotswap worked and now i have my xbox backl. Saved from the dreaded xbox live loop. It took maybe 10 times to work out the timeing of when to disconnect the xbox IDE and connect to the PC, but worked like a charm. Pirrup, your awesome. Anybody who is thinking about doing this. stop thinking and try it. It works and what do you have to loose - your xbox is wrecked already.
