Hi,
I used DVD2XBOX to rip Spiderman 2 to my xbox hard drive and when I play the game I often notice part of the graphics are completely missing, for instance some buildings turn into grey blocks or sometimes the sky changes to just a plain color, also there's weird shapes that appear on the screen and morph around as I move across the level... Does this mean that the game failed to copy properly from the DVD? If so, how is it that only these types of glitches arise and the rest of the game runs fine, if the game failed to copy wouldn't it be unable to run entirely instead of just giving me minor glitches?
Thanks for any help you can offer me.

put your original spiderman game into the dvdrom and test to see if it does the same thing.. If it doesnt do the same thing with the original DVDROM i would say your files are corrupted in someway on the xboxhdd..
Try re-ripping the game from the original dvd again.
Even give complextools a go if you have problems using dvd2xbox.
I started a new game yesterday and I played for at least 2 hours with no sign of these glitches, game was running fine as ever, coult it be that all it needed was for me to turn it off and back on again?

Yes! I does mean that the copy was bad.
I didn't read all of the previous responses, so I might be repeating someone else. The fragmentation problem is similar to network data fragmentation, only this is not caused by collisions but by a dirty, scratched or faulty Xbox DVD, or a S.O.B. Th*mson DVD drive.
Try cleaning or CD Doctoring(TM) the DVD you used, or maybe just borrow it from a friend who's REALLY REALLY anal about his DVDs.
Hope this helps.

you couldn't read 3 posts to see that the problem went away with a simple restart?
