Hi,
I ve got my softmod running with evox dash, now i was looking through the system config menu on evox and I accidently pressed 'A' on the backup part of the menu instead of 'B' to get back to the main menu.
No sub menu came up and i pressed 'B' very quickly -
What will I have done - will this have over written my backup m$ dash ???
The xbox seems to still work ok and I can still get to the m$ dash via evox.
Any ideas what this 'backup' tab does ? _________________

Yes you can ftp in and get the back of the m$ dashboard to but really there is no point if you alreayd have AID2 or SID..
They already have everything you need on them..

If you want my advice, go and read this article (see the section entitled Using a PC). If you've done a straight, no-frills softmod with nothing else installed, you can produce a bootable, HDD-locking (if the drive supports ATA security) tool that will burn to a CD-R/RW, and easily to a DVD-R. I recommend DVD-R since CD-R/RWs can be tricky in XBOX DVD drives.
You can ZIP or RAR the directory you've created and keep it as a way to create a new bootable HDD for softmodding or to re-create your stock drive in the event of some unforseen catastrophy. _________________ XBOX V 1.0 (softmod)
