Hi guys,
Well you might have noticed ive been missing in action now for sometime.. (well only about 2 weeks).. I thought id fill you in on what im up to..
I thought since the XBOX360 comes out soon (3 months) i had better finalise the HQ site for the next couple of years so i have organised hosting in advance again and again so we dont ever have to fear of losing the site.. The Xbox-Hq.Com domain name will not expire until 2015 and our hosting is currently paid for 12 months..
Im am currently working (daily) on upgrading the HQ site to its final design including all new sections, searching and skinning... Ill be posting more screenshots as i have time..
Its looking much more professinal then the existing skins and less cluttered.. All pages should and will load faster the usual and all users should be able to experience the site exactly the same no matter what speed of internet connection they use..
Heres some of the new features on the upgrade HQ which will be coming in the next month or so:
- Crosslinking of the entire database.
eg. When you look at a XBOX GAME it will also lookup for cheats, reviews, tutorials, downloads and news relating to the game
We have many new sections now which will crosslink:
- Xbox Games
- Xbox Developers
- Xbox Publisher
- Xbox Screenshots
- Xbox Hardware
The Xbox Tutorials section now has multiple categories and sub categories to slot each tutorial into.. You will alos be able to search much better this time..
I will make sure that the site is 100% firefox compatible so the users who like to browse the site using firefox or other similar browsers like WEBTV and XBOX BROWSERS..
Anyway, thanks to da-goat, pirrup so far for adding so many games.. And thanks to shortacid too.. I think he has helped too..

Hobbs, back on Aug 12 I had asked "Now clue me in... WTF does hobbs mean by developers? I thought we were installing game info. Confused.....(my true natural state)". I had pointed out "OK forahobby. I've added all games for D that were released in 2005.
Before I make a mess, I want you to take a look and be sure that I am doing as instructed. It appears ok, but better to change habits now than after I've installed 50 or 100.
Thanks dude!"
So again I ask if that's what we are doing BEFORE I fugg things up. If so, I would be happy to continue.

Then I can play "s3x Dwarf" by Softcell in an endless loop using my special Voodoo 3 card I've been saving for a screen saver!

This POS is like a 286 dude but trying to run Win2K. It's pitiful. But like I said.... "dudes gonna get a dell" I think come Sept! Should be able to hang out there a lot more. Sometimes it does well for a bit then it goes idle and there it stays until I log off. It's a drag.
