Hi this is knave, and with the permission of DJB i'm free to distribute an installer i've made based on Softmod-Installer-Deluxe 2.0.
Why 2.0, mb cause PBL can be usefull after all, and nkpatching from SID3.0 failed me.
The only way i'm gonna distribute this for now, will be via AIM, and i will only be around till the 16th of August 2005, and return about month after that.
The following features of this istaller goes like this.
It uses pbl, cycle install and unistall perfect for newbs, and ppl that don't speak english.
Features:
English and Spanish Menus (menu select)
all in 1 installation, simple select (must have dash 5960 if plan to use it)
features to hide mod, and show again using pbl and edited bios (example: closed tray will load ms dash,
when open tray will load a special menu. not good for xbox live, but could be usefull)
Removes this installer from E drive UDATA folder when softmod is complete, but it's restored when you
complete a "complete unistall" using addon menu.
Softmod installed works (english and spanish are same, but language is different, but i will only explain in english here)
A.- Load Mission in 007 Agent Underfire and will get this menu.
ENGLISH
SPANISH
Auto-Install Softmod (does it all and makes smart backups of everything needed)
Lite Restore (will backup your modded C drive, and restore original, good for xbox live)
MOD Restore (will undo the Lite Restore)
Full Restore (will restore all stuff to default, from C drive and E drive. Gamesave is not affected)
B.- Softmod Installed with PBL.
CLOSED TRAY
Loads UnleashX and get on with your game or what ever the case is. (apps, emulators, etc folders are locaed in "E:\SID2|",
this is so when you full restore, they are deleted as well.
OPEN TRAY
Loads a special tool menu that will gives the following options (menu loaded from "C:\SID\tool\"
Hide Mod (this replaces the "closed.bin" file, a bios set to load original MS dash first, this is not safe for
xbox live, but could save you from your little brother messing up when your not there, or hide mod from someone.....O_o.
To access this menu, you must have tray open when booting to use these features.
Use Mod (well, undo Hide MOD).
Complete Unistall (this will be full removal and restorations. will restore original MS dash, delete folder on E drive
like "SID2" and "Backup", and will delete previous 007 Agent Underfire Save, to restore the exploitable hack. once again,
your back to like b4 you even installed everything and with your hacked gamesave ready to load.
NOTE: After you install softmods you must turn off xbox and turn back on, remove game so it loads fine, if you reboot after installing, you'll get
"error 21", which is not a problem, but you will panic, i'm sure of it =P, anyways, when you get that error, simply take out game of DVD Tray, turn off
and turn on xbox again, and it will load things properly.
Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed, unless you hate PBL O_o. _________________ Xbox v1.1

Yes thumbs up from me too, like you obviously got before you posted this, hehe.
We will put your modded SID 2 installers in the VIP Downloads section, this way you won't have to put up with everyone contacting you to get it.
One small suggestion though, I may take apart your 007 exploit and fix it up for Mechassault and Splinter Cell. Would you mind if I did this?

He has. It's a nice system he's created, and he's actually hand-written his own script and not just expanded mine.
I'm going to help him out and make a matching Mechassault and Splinter Cell to go with his version.
