cool, i'm Hispanic, and i've just got my first Translation of SID 2.0.
Features:
All but removed Evox Installer.
Changed all possible to Spanish.
No Tutorials done, but i'll start 1 soon.
Where can i host this? (5mg file)
btw, i'm gonna make my own installer using this knowledge, so i can get my self started on learning more about these exploits.

actually mines is way different now, i'll name stuff of it, as matter of fact it's so good i'll be using it and passing among ppl that don't speak english.
Features:
English (menu all in english)
Spanish (menu all in spanish)
Exit/Salir (turns off xbox)
All from english and spanish are the same, but just translated, as for the intalation, there are 2 different language files that define the install.
1.- Auto-Install/Auto-Instalar
What it does: backs up C drive, installs softmod, unleashx, and patches 5960, all in one button press (you still get yes or no question).
2.- Lite Restore/Restauracion Simple
What it does: backs up your modded C drive, and deletes all after, and installs backedup original dash. *good for xbox live, if afraid coldboot is not enough*
3.- Full Restore/Restauracion Completa
What is does: restores MS backup to C and deletes all backups. This is for complete removal
4.- MOD Restore/Restaurar MOD
what is does: restores modded back up made by "Lite Restore".
and the rest is settings, ftp etc...........
well, this has to be the most easiest most noob free, to the point installer.
i only take credit for the installer parameter and couple files like translated files.
this is based of SID 2.0, since version 3 didn't work for me after 1st install on a 1.06b xbox
i still think i made a really nice, friendly user installer, and it should be out there.
i'll try to contact DJB.

The first thing you would notice if you read the boards here at all is that folks here speak their minds. It's beyond rare that anyone here gets angry at any one person, but when your first post is one that comes across as attempting to point out the obvious to the posters when it's not the full reality of modding, then expect folks to become defensive. Read any news story of folks getting arrested and the story will invariably say that the guys are hackers or modders of Xboxes and leave the lasting impression to those that don't know the very thing you've stated in your first post claiming piracy. Let them be judged on quality not hatred? "THEY" are apparently targeting the naive and taking advantage of them, much like taking money in a scam by the Nigerians that claim to have millions and want you to somehow get a piece of the action. Of course, you never see any money, but they do.... YOURS! So if you were to become aware that someone is short changing the elderly (for example) would you judge them by the quality of the scam or would it just simply piss you off. These guys that are doing this are scum and need to be shut down but it's not for us to do. We can however make as many aware as possible that it is occuring and try to protect them through education.
The last thing I would point out is that a lot is said here with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Most that visit here a lot love to banter with each other and most of the time any name calling is simply in jest. Get to know the folks here and I doubt you will be disappointed but for the love of Xbox, don't broad brush the modders. We are not all pirates, we do not all pirate games, we do not support it here... period. We've said it before and we will continue to say it.
